Description

It's essential for LTC facilities to have policies and procedures in place to address Adverse Drug Events and high-risk drugs, promoting a culture of safety and well-being for residents. This training aims to empower healthcare professionals to proactively identify, prevent, and manage adverse drug events and promote overall medication safety for residents.  Discussion will focus on high-risk medications that are most likely to lead to adverse drug events in the long-term care settings, federal regulations related to adverse drug events, and interventions to decrease the incidence of adverse drug events.
